a lil' note on my r/ship wif all my cuzs, regardless of which side, mom or dad... we are pretty tight, especially between us girls. so we kinda see each of us as sisters. kak yin is the 1st person that is closest to me to get married. so i am extremely excited!
click here for more stories on kak yin's engagement abt a year ago.
i had to wake up pretty early coz obviously we r family n we had to be thr by 8.30 frm sg petani ( a 1 hr drive). wif eyes half-openned, i got ready, n grabbed this 1 pink kebaya which ive only worn once way back in 2004. which is absolutely funny, coz every1 wore light colored bj (white, cream etc), n i haf this bright pink kebaya on me.. kebaya doesnt rili do justice for me u know..
anyways, whn we arrived (sis had to work), kak yin was in a midst of getting her mekap done by a girl we called kak sya (according to kak yin, she chose her coz their name is abt the same... shalen n sya....). i like the mekap, it was simple n sweet, n it was not that thick n all, i can still see kak yin frm beyond the mekap.
we thn get to the mosque, n kak yin's soon-to-be husband, din, at that time, had already arrived wif his family.
it was the first time i saw kak yin's other half. for the last 1 year, since kak yin's engagement, kak yin had been saying "din x hensem pn, din tu besaq" yada yada yada... n i really had this vision of din looking utterly.... burok... haha
freaking hell! mn ade! din was a charming guy, has 1 of those sweetest smile, malu2 gitu, n he's a freaking ustaz!
ok, maybe kak yin tkt ill try to mengorat din kot, so she stays mum abt the real din. haha. juz kidding
throughout the whole ceremony, i had this song sempurna kept playing on my head ( thnx to athirah for showing that slideshow! ngaaa~ ). it was a beautiful song, so i see the ceremony as trully 1 beautiful event. it was still beautiful without the song ok...
din had to.. err.. how do u say this... lafazkn the akad? haha.. i haf no idea... but its the thing the guy haf to say after the tok imam said "aku nikahkn dikau...." anyways, he had to do it twice, coz the tok imam had been mispronounce kak yin's name to sharlinie instead of shalene. aih....
whn i hugged kak yin, realization hit me. i was like "demit! this girl dh kawen! im sooooo sad, but i am freaking hepi! wuwu" omg! kak yin dh kawen! shes ready to haf lil' kak yin's, which i dread for the day to come..... 1 kak yin is enuf in this world, tq...
once it was over, n kak yin n din are officially pronounced as husband n wife, din was getting ready to get back to the house for the makan2, but kak yin wanted to take pics inside the mosque.
this is the time whr u can see kak yin's camwhore-ness. she was like "tangkap gamba mcm ni plak... mcm ni plak.. mcm ni plak" n i swear din gave her this look of "wut the hell?!" beneath that smiley-looking face.
*lepas ni kta tangkap gamba kt atas mimbar.. pas tu sbelah tok imam.. pas tu kita posing kt tepi sungai..........*
*there is a total of rm567 of hantaran money in here.... now, that bj i saw at guess the other day sounds tempting....*
we got back to the house at alor star, n we had mee rebus cooked by kak yin's dad... sedap giloooos!! i want to haf another serving but i had this in my mind "im wearing a freaking pink kebaya......." i haf no idea whats the relation between this n pink kebaya, but it stopped me from having a go at another bowl of mee rebus ... menyesal!!
din went back to his house at... errr...... i dunno whr, but it arnd kedah oso, that im sure.. they'll meet again mase ari kenduri which is this friday on kak yin's side at sg petani, n saturday at din's side at... err... his house.
im soooooo hepi for kak yin! but it was a freaking hot day!
so this year raya, we haf a new addition la in the house... n wuts more, org dh kawen kene kasi duit raye, so i'll haf more moolah la this year.
to kak yin & din, slamat pengantin baru... n i hope u haf the best life ahead of u!
